A course and sacred gathering for women looking to heal and empower themselves through the wisdom of the Tarot and other cross-cultural energetic and mystical practices

Prerequisites : a basic understanding of the Tarot is helpful though not required

Description : This course will follow the Fool's journey through the Major Arcana of the Tarot, which mimics the Hero/Shero's journey through major life events, self healing, change, transformation, shadow work, spiritual growth and awareness.

Each month we will focus on one card of the major arcana (or main mysteries or secrets) including meaning, symbolism, elemental energies, sacred symbols, colors and other aspects.

We will also journey and meditate with each card to explore it's energy and meaning for us personally, connect with it's plant/herbal and crystal correspondences, and perform a healing practice and/or ritual to connect with it's energy and themes.

We will also explore readings connected to each Major arcana card which will allow us in time to work with both the Major and Minor Arcana cards and deepen our connection to this powerful and mystical divination and healing tool as a whole.

We will also learn to call on and invoke the energy of the cards to support other healing and spiritual work including in energy healing, moon rituals or contemporary Shamanic healing sessions. We will also cover the basic history of the cards, different types of readings, look at different decks, learn to clear, bless and empower our decks, etc.

If you are looking for a powerful healing tool for spiritual growth and awareness, want to connect with a spiritual community of like-minded women, and could use a good distraction during these times of tumultuous change, this course may be for you.

Learning and working with the Tarot has been one of the most valuable and interesting healing practices and tools of spiritual growth in my life. And honestly, we are never done learning because the Tarot has so many aspects and facets to explore and there are a million decks to choose from! I look forward to sharing this powerful journey with you!

I have taken multiple trainings over the years in reading the cards, and became a Certified Tarot Reader by Maria Davis in 2020. I have also taken extended ongoing training over the last 5 years with Sherry Whitfield.

Class Length : classes will meet from 10am-3pm on the first Sunday of the month, plus there will be a Zoom call one evening per month during the 3rd week of the month to go over readings and Q&A. Classes will be in person in New Milford, CT and online via Zoom (there will also be recordings of class available). Space is limited to 8 people.

The first class is January 5, 2025

Class Materials : bring a journal and water bottle, wear comfortable clothing, bring your Rider Waite Smith tarot deck as well

Class Fee : there is a deposit of $197 to hold your spot; total tuition for the year is $2100 (minus the deposit).

You may pay in full which includes a discount of $150; so the total is $1950 (including deposit).

The Major Arcana is 22 cards, so there will be a year 2 offered to complete the journey through the cards.
